Pam Wastell | Secretary to the Board

Pam WastellPam and her husband moved to South Godstone in 2000, and then moved her mother to Caterham to live nearby. One of her daughters has lived in Caterham with her family for more than 25 years.

Her husband was a Trustee of ESDAR from 2006 until his death in 2019, and Pam stepped up to help ESDAR in other ways in 2016, becoming a Trustee herself in 2020.

Pam worked for the National Health Service for more than 35 years in various admin and management roles, for Community and Mental Health Trusts. One of her roles was to manage a medical equipment home loan service, which made her aware of how difficult daily life could be for people with disabilities, especially with local transport.

Pam has seen first-hand the benefits that ESDAR provides to its members, and wants to ensure this valuable service continues to thrive and serve its local community.
