An ex Royal Navy veteran, I have lived in Caterham since returning from 20 years in Australia and New Zealand, in 2003.

My background is electrical engineering, which has allowed me to work on many exciting projects around the world including building a hospital in New Zealand, a gold mine project in Borneo and an LNG installation in North West Australia.

I took early retirement as a Sales Director with a large multi-national in 2014; since, pursuing active interests in public and community services. Among various board level and NED, roles, this has included 12 years as a District Councilor, former Chairman and Chairman of Community Services, at Tandridge District Council.

I am passionate about the care of the vulnerable and very concerned that financial support for Community Services has been eroded in our county.

I became involved with East Surrey Dial-A-Ride in early 2020 and following the sad passing of my predecessor, was elected Chairman in September 2020. ESDAR is a vital part of the Caterham community and beyond. We are united in our passion and determination to keep it so and grateful to past, present and future donors, supporters and volunteers.
